New HRT conduit

INTERFLEX, S.A., Spanish manufacturer of cable protection and management systems, introduces into the market a new polyamide corrugated conduit called HRT. As the rest of products belonging to the NYLOFIX range, this conduit is free from halogens and is in accordance with the RoHS European Directive for the restriction of hazardous substances. Among other characteristics, the HRT conduit stands out for its excellent impact resistance at low temperatures, which makes it ideal for installations on the lower part of coaches and locomotives. This part of the train is very exposed to possible impacts coming from the stones present in the rail infrastructure. When these impacts are produced on a very cold climate they can damage the cable protection system if it¿s not designed for this purpose. For this reason, the HRT conduit has been submitted to different tests replying these conditions with excellent results.

The HRT conduit also has the following homologations:

• DB (Deutsche Bahn) according to the German norm DIN 5510-2.
  
• SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Français) according to the French norm NF F 16-101.
  
• RATP (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens).
